Play Golf America

The NMSU Golf Course has a number of Play Golf America activities planned this year. Please review the list of activities below to see which one will help your golf game.

May - Free Lesson Month

Take a free 10 minute lesson with one of the NMSU PGA Professionals and get a chance to win a trip to the PGA Golf Club, Nike Golf Equipment and more. Call the NMSU Golf Course Pro Shop at 646-3219 to inquire about times when you may take your free 10 minute lesson.

June - Women's Golf Week

June 2 through June 9 is Women's Golf Week. The NMSU Golf Course has four activities planned for women interested in golf.

June 2 - Women's Golf Week Golf Clinics, Free

Six 1-hour clinics at 9:00am, 10:00am, 11:00am, 2:00pm, 3:00pm, and 4:00pm. Call the NMSU Golf Course Pro Shop to sign up at 646-3219.

June 6 - Women's Golf Week Outing, $15 per person

A 9-hole golf outing starting at 5:30pm followed by a social event in the Player's Grill. Appetizers and a No Host Bar will be available after play with a presentation given on equipment issues specific to women. Call the NMSU Golf Course Pro Shop to sign up at 646-3219.

June 7 - Demo Day, Free

A demo day featuring Nancy Lopez Golf Equipment for women will take place on the NMSU Golf Course Driving Range from 3:00pm - 7:00pm. In addition, equipment representatives from Titleist, Cobra, Ping, Callaway, Nike, Taylor Made, Bridgestone Golf and Cleveland Golf will be on hand.
